Pioneering the future of power testing and monitoring
Transformer Temperature Monitoring TTM
Transformer Temperature Monitoring
See true hotspot temperature where it impacts and matters the most—inside the winding. Power View Optical Temperature Monitoring embeds FBG fiber-optic sensors directly in the coils for real-time, EMI-immune measurements with deviations as low as ±0.5 °C, Sensors are oil-ready and long-life with –40…230 °C range, 10 kV/mm dielectric strength, and ≥50-year expected lifetime. A hermetic ¼” NPT feedthrough and optional tank wall plate (up to 25 feedthroughs) make retrofit practical during service across large units. DIN-rail PWTX transmitters accept 1–6 optical inputs and speak RS-485/Modbus, while the HMI adds relays/analogs for alarms and cooling control. Everything rolls up into Substation Digital for trending, diagnostics, and fleet-level risk assessment—turning temperature data into clear, actionable decisions.
